Many people know me as a calm and rational person. But those who manage to get deeper (and there are a lot of them as well) know there is devil which can jump out provoked by anything: djembe drumming, extreme situation, noisy company of friends, fantastic views from the mountains, dancing, run for 15 km, altered conciousness or whatever... just a small thought or intention can bring him out.

Friends say I'm adventurer. Actually, yeah...

- Buying one-way ticket to America leaving a good and promising job (just because it seems the best idea how to spend next few years),

or

Entering a big country like China with visa expiring in couple of days with tiny hope of its extension (just because it would be stupid to turn back),

or

Going to the army (just because it's interesting what is going on there)

...that's all about me. Though some close friends say it's not adventurism, but insanity. I love them for being sincere!

I'm always in search of new experience. ANY experience.

And one day I finally found the universal method of getting it. That's not surprisingly is travelling and hitch-hiking/couchsurfing. The first lets you see things for the first time by yourself, and the second gives opportunity to know and understand everything by communication with people who see it everyday.

So I just pack my backpack and hit the road...

Was illegal in China for some time when my visa expired. That's why had to solicit a unique note which said I was living on the embassy territory for 1 week. In Chinese.

Hitch-hiked all the way through Tibet in the middle of winter.

Lived with fishermen on Baikal lake doing all the hard man's job.
