About Me
Hello! I'm Alexa. Some of my favorite things are philosophy, dogs, beer, art, the mountains and riding my bike. I spend lots of time reading and thinking about normativity, social justice, capitalism, gender and race, privilege, social construction, responsibility and how to live well.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My partner and I traveled to Finland, Sweden, and France in September and had great couchsurfing experiences in the cities we visited. Now I'm hoping to have more and share the love. (Although I can't host right now hopefully in the near future.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Rescued and rehabilitated a wonderful dog named Jackson. He was a mess who didn't like other dogs, couldn't be by himself without destroying everything, was afraid of bottles/cans, and looked terrible. Now, after 2 years he can be by himself, loves him doggie-brother Morty, looks great and is the most trustworthy dog I've ever known.
