ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Alex, computer science student in Bielefeld, Germany. Originally I come from Regensburg, a nice medieval city with really good vibes in the heart of Bavaria. Before moving to Bielefeld I did my Bachelor's degree in cognitive science in Tübingen, a small beautiful university town in Badem-Würrtemberg. In between I worked half a year in Germany and traveled for 3 months through south and central america (Brasil, Argentina, Chile, Bolvia, Peru, Ecuador, Panama and Costa Rica) which was really really sweet. I met lots of cool people and had some impressive experiences. I hope couch surfing is not only a cheap alternative to hostels to me, but helps maintaining the open-minded and big-hearted spirit that I got to know while traveling.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As soon as I have a fixed residence I'll love to offer my couch and time to help my guests to explore the world or just to cheaply bridge some time.

I stayed at a few couch surfers and also hosted a few - its was always, literally always, a lot of fun!

Interests

Now and then I like to do some sports like handball, badminton, climbing or mountainbiking and I try to learn some Spanish and playing the guitar. Also - as a computer scientist should do - I like to program, especially smartphone apps ;)

Saw a massive sea turtle while diving :) Saw a stunning orange fullmoonrise over the carribean sea! Survived the death road in Bolivia ;) Was in Rio at the worldcup 2014 :P Climbed macchu picchu mountain :)
