About Me

Hello, world!
First thing I would like to say to gain your attention... Are you ready? As strange as it may sound? Ok! I'm Russian (even Siberian), but I don't drink. At all. Yes, I am real. But I have black belt in hanging out with drunk people. Even more - I like it. Drunk people are often kind and funny)
I did it? Ok. Lets move on. I think the most interesting thing I can tell about myself it is my the most impressive journey.
In 2011 I had a great experience of work and travel in USA for a 100 days. I had a full time job in Dunkin Donuts in Cape Cod (not so far from Boston) first 70 days. Since then I can't even view coffee and donuts - so much I consumed its. Other 30 days I had a great road trip with my friends. We visited almost every single valuable city. We had a great weekend in New York, watched football (or soccer, how you like it) match between Manchester United and Barcelona in Washington, was impressed by magical Muse concert, took a walk along street Strip in Las Vegas, watch how Danny DeVito gets his star on famous alley in Los Angeles and took a ride on most amazing attractions in local 6 flags, enjoyed air of San Diego, viewed Golden Gate and Alcatraz in San Francisco.
Since then I almost had no travel experience. I miss conversations with english speaking people so much. I hope this website will help me with it)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel a lot.
For me the idea to spend night in hotel or hostel seems like something boring. Why should I do it, if I can meet real foreign citizens, learn something new about their culture and homeland. Furthermore, it's a great opportunity to improve my english speaking skills. It looks like an opportunity to get a lot exciting experience.
Also I want to host guest in my apartment. Sharing is good.

Interests

IT. I am working in Yandex. It's like Google, but Russian) So whether I like it or not - I must love informational technologies. Actually, I do. I have to. Also, I like...

Football (or soccer, whatever)!!! Love of my life is Liverpool FC. I've completely became red after Luis Garcia scored goal-phantom against Chelsea in Champions League's semifinal 2005. Since then I almost never miss a single game. I even always choose Liverpool as my team in EA Sport FIFA15 when I play PS4 with my friends. Anfield, Kop, Steven Gerrard - the main three words) YNWA!

+ travelling (yes-yes), fitness, mountain skiing, TV series (especially HBO), various productivity technics (GTD, Agile Result and so on), gadgets (Apple, mostly) and good software (what to do - I'm a techie).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music

Muse! I was lucky to watch their concert at Lollapoluza 2011 (Chicago). It was one of the biggest impressions of my life.
+ Beatles, Limp Bizkit (like their drive), Glee Cast and some Russian local musicians.

Movies

It's more about directors. Christopher Nolan, David Fincher, Daren Aranovski, Quentin Tarantino. They know how to make a good movie.

Books

World classic literature, mostly. And Harry Potter, of course)
