About Me

Hi! I am Alex. I live in Russia in the city of Novorossiysk near the Black sea. It is very nice city and I absolutely love it, it is pretty hot to lay on the beach at the summer and winter enough to see snow and make fun with it. The city is all surrounded with mountains so you can hike any direction whatsoever, even bike hiking, and I really like hiking). It is not a big city so you can always find some quiet place and relax. So if anybody want to visit welcome aboard I will do my best to make your trip smooth and impressive.

I have two masters university deegrees 6 years each, yeah it seems I have been studying whole my life. First is Management on sea transport and second is mechanic engeneering on see going merchant vessels especially tankers. Yes I coudn't make my mind what I really wanted. And now I work in vessel engeneering.

I love to discover new places and new cultures. Always willing to learn something. I really love philosophy and intense talks about the universe.
I also love sport (hiking, cycling, soccer, swimming) and eating healthy.

My motto: SHARE LOVE!
To wander makes you wonder. Traveling is a form of discovering yourself and I'm sure I'll never stop it.
Life is a continuous discovery and an endless trail of self-knowledge: anyone can give you something and teach you... Expect the unexpected! Be open to change!

PHILOSOPHY
Live life like someone left the gate open.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is great for bursting your own social bubble. Leaving that comfort zone for the sake of meeting with someone new: I would compare it with having a little, tiny, short-time adventure together. The process of opening up in front of others, crossing the line from small to real talk: It's always unpredictable, new and in so many ways enriching. Building new connections does enlarge my own perspective slowly but steady. I hope and try to give this empowering feeling to others, too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Yesterday I was sitting on the balcony with my friend. It was rainy and sunny at the same time. We enjoyed a good beer with our legs in a kids paddling pool. It was just like holidays. Sometimes simple things turnout AMAZING (2019)
