I'm a software engineer who moved to San Francisco in 2013. I decided to give couchsurfing a try because why not: been staying in hotels all the time I felt there might be something important missed out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to find folks who are into road trips, hiking/camping in distant places and exploring new places around. I like to meet new people and hang out in the places you don't usually notice living for too long in the same city. I'm also interested in learning about different cultures.

Interests

Snowboard and basketball are my true loves: former to merge into the nature, latter – to dive into the game. I also like exploring cityscapes and going outdoors for hiking or biking. I love airplanes too, hopefully one day I'll get a private pilot license!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm pretty open to almost any kind of music but I especially like singer-songwriter types; in movies and books - sci-fi and fantasy.
