Hi! I'm an avid traveler who's always down to meet up with new people and explore new things. I have an open mind and am willing to go wherever the road takes me. Currently I am preparing for a month in Europe around the Christmas holidays. I am staying with friends and family for the majority of the trip but would love to meet up and possibly stay with someone in Berlin for a few days around the middle of December. I greatly appreciate your hospitality in advance, and I look forward to exploring Berlin!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first things that come to mind are the two cross-Canada tours I did with my band eight years ago. I was 20 years old at the time and playing in an alternative-punk band with some friends. We left in October 2010 in our 15-passenger van for three and half weeks, heading to Calgary, Alberta and back again to Montreal. Three months later we decided to do it all over again in January (Canadian January!), this time for a month and a half. Over that span we stayed with friends we had met during the first tour, family in various cities, and a few unlucky nights in the van (where we would wake up with icicles on our faces after the temperature sometimes dropped to -30 degree centigrade...Canadians our tough by the way:)) It was an amazing experience, doing what we love with the people we love, and meeting awesome people along the way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think my willingness to bond with new people is a driving force behind why I travel. I am enthusiastic about exploring unknown territory and trying new things, but I also enjoy a quiet night in relaxing and talking over a cold beer (or wine, or gin, scotch, ouzo, pastis, bourbon, you get the idea.....) I truly believe that the bonds formed over special and unexpected encounters can create some of the strongest and longest lasting friendships. I can't wait to hear your thoughts and stories, and I would love to share with you some of my great Canadian ones too
