About Me

Born and raised in the nice an contemplative south of Thuringia, it has been a pretty normal an boring life so far: School and then of to university. First Jena and since 2006 Leipzig. I recently finished law school, but don't be fooled by that: There are still a lot of aspects about the concept of growing up that I don't quite get. And I don't think I ever will. While a lot of People seem to have a (life-) plan, I am still very confused what to do, but maybe that is just me...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the past a lot of time and attention was bound to the place I live. But now that I don't have to juggle work ans university I hope that there is some time opening up to get out, discover a few thing and meet some people. And this looks like a good place for this purpose.

Interests

Music! I love to listen to it and I love to make it myself even more. Mostly with guitar(s) an programmed electronics. Sometimes with a piano, if I can get a hold of one.
I'm also interested in politics or any social issues. Dicussions about this stuff are getting better with every beer.

Music, Movies, and Books

While I don't like to say " I like all kinds od music", which sounds like I choose my favorit bands at random, I prefer to say "I like many kinds of music". I mostly listen to postrock and postcore bands. Electronic influences are always welcome. But I generally think that there are two or three great artists in every "genre".

I like movies with a weird story, like "The Big Lebowski" or "21 Grams". Comedy or drama, I don't mind (although I tend to prefer Comedy). I also have a thing for british comedy shows like "The mighty boosh".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh boy, if I realy have to nail it down to (the) one amazing thing, then I hope it's still along the way. But I'm sure it's happening soon, I can feel it...
