About Me

CURRENT MISSION
To create a better place for us to live in

Hey!

Nice to meet you here! My name is Sandro, I’m from Tbilisi, 30 years old, I’m a Globetrotter.
I think one of the amazing things that you can do in your life is traveling, so I can say that I've done it and I will try always to do it lots of time :) and do my best to visit at least two countries every year. Also, I like guiding in places I know by heart. I am curious about making new friends all over the world. Why? We're so different and have so many things to share!

Usually, I like people who smile, who understand humor, and those who are able to laugh. I enjoy the world and open-minded people, who like and love life. Who see the world positively and share their own energy, adventures, and thoughts with others. Also, all those who love listening to good music and talking about the human beings, sense of life and world. Those who love to talk and discuss, joke, and are ALIVE!!!!

Philosophy

I'm in search of my mission in life. I love living with passion. And when I feel it is reducing, looking for inspiration. I understand - you could die any day, any minute. So you shouldn't do anything that makes your life miserable. It's really simple.

Hope to meet You!
Sandro

Couchsurfing is one of the best idea I ever heard on Earth :) This is the way to how discover new places on this planet and this is the best way to get lots of new friends to meet all sorts of people on Earth, get bunch of new infos from different people :)

I believe it to be the best way to explore the world and get to know it the way it is. I would not trade the experience of independent and spontaneous travelling for anything!

Music is my life and I can say that I'm living by music, that is my point of view about music :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Georgian dinner, tour around the city, night out.

Here is my ideas, what to do in Tbilisi :)
- First of all, walk in the city a lot, in the old city especially, take a stroll through the old town, there´s local art shops, wine houses, small family run guesthouses. You can spend hours getting lost in the old alleys and backstreet, just to find a small local bar or Kinkhali house.
- Second what you have to do you have to visit sulfur bath, and walk in that area inside of the way it's very beautiful in the end there is a beautiful waterfall.
- Walk the Bridge of Peace, and the park there beside the square of Europe.
- Visit the Mtatsminda Park for the stunning view over the city. Ride to the holy mountain Mtatsminda, This is the easiest way to get to there. The funicular is cheap (2 GEL) it's a cable ecscalator machine and takes you up to an amusement park filled with games and children, though also with some high class restaurants and good view to the city.
- Take the cable car to the mother of Georgia statue and Narikala fortress (I suggest to do it in the evening when the sun goes down and the city is in lights)
- If you want to see All about local souvenirs in one place then you have to visit Meidan Bazaar, it's also in the centre of the old city.
- Try the local delicious cuisine: Khinkali, Khachapuri, Mtsvadi, try Georgian bread “shotis puri” ask it in special places you will see in the city, try it immadiately when it’s made. Eat a traditional Georgian food, all of it and as much as you can! Seriously, the Georgian cuisines are delicious! try Georgian wine, which is the best in the world I think ;) and get drunk with wine))

- Also try local candy, sweets like Churchkhela, mmm it's so delicious!!
- Talk with locals, they love foreigners. Georgian people are very friendly and nice. They will always want to help you, guide you, take you for dinner or whatever. Let them do so and feel the Georgian hospitality.
- Check out the local nighlife, we have lot's of good clubs, where there is played mostly techno, you'll like it if you listen to it, and if you don't the atmosphere is great and you have to look and visit hipster bars, you'll like it, there is cheap beer and good atmosphere, try to visit on Friday or on Saturday.
- Also Visit Take one day trip to Kazbegi and another day trip to Mtskheta.
If you have any questions, ask me ;)
