I'm Alex and I'm 24, living and working in Cardiff, Wales.

I have a day job but my true passion lies in music and I spend most of my time writing/ recording/ producing all kinds of things.

I'm lucky enough to have been all over the place, from short hops to European cities to 7 Months in Asia. My next planned trip is 3 weeks in Greece in February.

Half of me wants to buy all the music equipment in the world and the other half wants to take an acoustic guitar and go live in a mountain hut by a big old lake. I use instagram as an excuse to ogle Nat Geo photographers and people who live in Vans.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new and interesting people is the one of the best parts of travel and couchsurfing is a way to guarantee that'll happen! Plus seeing a place from a locals perspective is always better - you get to see the real country when you see it through a local's eyes.

Fan of all things rock/pop/jazz. Anything action or sci fi on the movie front and I read a lot so I'm not sure I can pick a book!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiked from the UK to Croatia for Charity - it took around 4 days and we met some amazing (and wacky) people on the way!

Teach, Learn, Share

Always up for playing some music, and getting some food on the go. I'm vegetarian and love cooking so I'm more than happy to help out in the kitchen.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Plenty of stories to share, a pretty decent chef and a companion for doing something new and interesting. Plus I'll play guitar for you if you have one!
