I recently graduated from New York University on a songwriting scholarship, and now I'm trying out my dream of traveling the country with a guitar and microphone and performing as I go! (Before starting a full time job in the Winter) My current plan is to travel the east coast playing in coffee shops and small music venues, while meeting new people and experiencing cities I've never visited. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love hearing and sharing stories -especially of travel - it's one of my big inspirations as a songwriter. While I tour the east coast my plan is to keep performing in coffee shops and other small music venues every day that I can, and see parts of the US that I've never seen before while making new friends!

I'm brand new to Couchsurfing but I was drawn to it after spending several months traveling Europe in hostels. I loved the social aspect of traveling that way, and I'm so excited to experience new cities from the local perspective as a couchsurfer! The people I met in hostels were some of the most interesting, adventurous, and driven people I've ever known, so I'm really looking forward to meeting some awesome surfers.

And when I finally settle down (in Los Angeles) I can't wait to start hosting as well

- Went paragliding off of a mountain in the French Alps
- Lost 90 pounds in one year through diet/exercise
- Interned at NBC, MTV, and Food Network while living in NYC
