I'm a first year student in Erasmus University Rotterdam, where I'll be studying Arts and Culture. I'm 18 years old and I've just graduated from the French High School in Sofia. My hobbies mostly consist of practicing any kind of art - music, theatre, literature. I've spent most of my time in high school working on projects (organizing festivals, charity work, etc), concerts and, for the past year, working closely with the Debate Association in Sofia as a judge and a volunteer. Other than that, I love being part of a multicultural community, as, in my experience, it very rarely gets dull!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I've been having trouble finding a studio in Rotterdam while I'm living in Sofia, I think it's the best opportunity to immerse myself in the community and meet some amazing people, and also find a studio while I'm there!

Music, Movies, and Books

I've widened my taste in music a lot through the years, but I mostly listen to jazz and blues. My favourite film is "In Bruges", though I am a sucker for 90s action movies! When it comes to books, I adore Shakespeare (as cliché as that might sound), Spanish literature, early twentieth century American literature and I've always found Ian Fleming's works to be brilliant!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was part of a theatre troupe a few years ago, which had the opportunity to go set a play in Germany as part of a European project. It was an interpretation of the film "An American in Paris" and I got picked for the lead role! I spent a week there and made some friends that I still keep in touch with - amazing people, who are very dear to me!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I consider myself to be an open person and I've always been deeply intrigued by other people! Any services like cooking, cleaning, etc are, of course, a given, but I would especially love to get to know the people around me on a personal level. Also, party tricks!!
