I am a molecular biologist from Serbia. Upon graduation I came to Spain to do a PhD in cancer research. I am a sporty guy, outgoing, friendly and curious. I am eager to travel, learn more and meet new people. I am driven by my life philosophy- to improve on daily basis, physically and intellectually, which is why I appreciate every new thing I learn and every new connection I make. I like sharing experiences, observing, I like acquiring random knowledge and I enjoy experiencing random encounters.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Because it is a different and a fun way to travel, meet new people, broaden horizons and get to know about places from the locals. I want to make connections and make friends not just host people. I hope that CS is going to make me more humble, teach me to appreciate diversity, inspire me and maybe make me approach and look at life from a different angle. I hope that somewhere along the way I will also inspire some people.

I enjoy exercising and dancing, those are my main activities at the moment. I like working out, doing bodyweight exercises (street workout, calisthenics), cycling. I like martial arts too. I must say that dancing converted to my passion; I dance salsa, bachata and kizomba and I am investing a lot of time in dancing classes and rehearsals since I am in a semi-pro bachata group that performs. I like to read, I like science in general; I like history and geopolitics. I enjoy listening to music and I like to explore new genres and blends. I enjoy traveling and meeting new people. I like to observe, I am interested in body language, NLP, social dynamics. I like architecture and art in general. Lets just say I like to selfimprove on daily bases and I believe that every new encounter can help.

I like many genres, so its difficult to name couple of them. I started with rock and heavy metal (which I still do like), then my tastes and interests got broader and I started exploring music and I am into wide variety of genres: indi rock, dub step, drum and bass, lounge music, latin music, reggaeton. My favourite bands are: Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Pantera, Metallica, The Prodigy, die Antwoord, Eliphant, Muse and many others... I dance salsa and bachata so, naturally, I like that kind of music also.
I like watching movies, especially ones with some aesthetic, historical or artistic value. My favourite ones are: One flew over cuckoo's nest, Clockwork orange, Citizen Kane, Elephant man. My favourite directors are: Stanley Kubrick, Woody Allen, Luis Buñuel, Paul Thomas Anderson, von Trier...
I like to read, but dont have a favourite writer yet: 'Quo vadis' and 'Schopenhauer cure' are two of my favourite ones.
