Hi there! My name is Alexander, but you can call me Alex;) I just finished my studie in retailmanagement and decided to wonder the streets of earth for a year. I'm a social, open minded guy with a lot of energy. I like hiking trips in nature and would love to learn more about edible and medicinal plants.

Currently finding my way in the wonderous world of Yoga so any help is welcome;) Also developing a love for surfing although my shoulders disagree. Also I just bought a surf board in Florianópolis if you can surf and can teach me some, let me know!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm starting my trip in Brasil with 2 other girls from Belgium travelling from the south to the north. We are hoping to find couchsurfers that can show us the non touristic places and teach us some Portuguese:) After Florianópolis we had enough party for a while. We would like to focus on nature and sightseeing, although a salsa bar never scares us! Aah yes, I also would loove to learn salsa;)

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music I have a very eclectic taste. I can listen to about everything except commercial electro. My preferences are funk, reggae and of course latin music ;) and I love to dance!

Currently I'm reading a book series called 'Earth Children' and am halfway part 6. These books are far out the best ones I have ever read, they are life changing and I recommend them to everyone!

Favorite movie? Hard one but I think the Moulin Rouge;)
