I AM AWAY FROM MY HOME TILL AUGUST 26TH.

My name is Alexander Mathew, I am a NY based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant/Musician who plays various instruments and listens to many different styles of music.

As a COTA, I've work in a variety of rehab settings-ranging from kids to the elderly. It's a rewarding job that I find very rewarding in helping others. I'm about to start working towards my masters in OT to become a full fledge Occupational Therapist!

The musician side of me writes silly demos and upload them to my soundcloud (soundcloud.com/alexanders-daydreams), and also do a music podcast called Strictly Butter (soundcloud.com/strictly-butter) where I have fun debates with two other friends over recent albums releases.

I also enjoy working out, though can sometimes get lazy with it. I find exercise to the best type of therapy for your well-being.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling is something I've always wanted to do, but never have gotten to do as much as I've wanted to. So it's always exciting when I get the chance to do so. I'm a big foodie and am willing to try anything. My preference for food will always be whatever the locals enjoy.

I am interested in meeting many different people and learning about their different cultures. My hope is to take the experiences I gain from meeting people and utilizing it to allow for self-growth.

Movies: Ocean's Eleven, Inception, Pixar Movies, Any sort of thrillers. I really like anime/Studio Ghibli.
