I am a fake Asian and fake Swedish according to my girlfriend. Just to clear things up. I was born in Thailand and grew up my six first years in an orphanage. There was absolutely nothing from my orphanage that enticed me. Once my Swedish parents came and adopted me and I visited the big city Bangkok, there were so many new impressions to soak up.

All the impressions in this new big city would become the very foundation of what I am today. I saw new people and got interested to play with them, old or young as I was back then, didn't matter. I started to get into technology because my hotel had a touchscreen friendly computer that interested me. The music I heard in the malls made me listen to music.

My parents brought me to Sweden and I saw more people and started to wonder why they looked so different in Northern Europe compared to the warm place I came from. Ever since then, get to know new and help people has become a very strong characterzing feature of mine.

Coming to a new country and then going to another one shortly after and another one a few months later and so on, has made me reaching 37 countries in total. As you have figured out I love exploring this beautiful world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My parents and I have travelled a lot. We have had different kind of experiences throughout or journeys. It has been everything from adventures to luxurious ones. We have stayed at hotels of different standards and we have also stayed at people my dad barely knew but managed to connect with. Those travels where we have stayed at people's places have been the most giving and fun ones. Sharing stories, experiences and having a local who knows what to see and what to avoid is something I know we all appreciate. That's the reason I am on couchsurfing so I can give back to people similarly minded people and of course to continue world exploring.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to many kind of genres, but I prefer EDM (electronic dance music) when in great mood or just in general. When in study mood, classical (Debussy, Chopin) music always cut it for me. I also love Bachata and folk pop music from different countries.

I am a bit cynical sometimes and action loaded; hence my choice of favourite movie lands on Inglorious Basterds. I cry every now and then and can also enjoy dramas.

As far as books go, books written by Dan Brown belong to my "can't-stop-read" list.
