Overview
About Me
I'm a twenty three year old Bachelor of Arts student from Melbourne, Australia with a double major in Creative Writing and Spanish with a Diploma of Languages in French (though I've barely started the French component). I just completed a year of exchange in Guadalajara, Mexico and what can I say? México. Es. La. Onda. It's the best. I have so, so much love for this beautiful country and I want so much to move there as soon as I can, but alas, the pull to exploring the entire world is stronger. As is said in the first verse on the opening track of 'The Lion King' there's more to see, than can ever be seen; more to do, than can ever be done.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because a good voyage is not about seeing the pretty things on the tourist trail, it's about fully immersing yourself in the local culture. Every city has it's own groovy little corners that you might not find if you don't meet the locals.
Interests
Wide and varied. I love music, art, movies and theatre. I love literature and I love writing (my major, after all, is in Creative Writing). I love jokes and I love poetry. And I love dancing.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have many favorite movies, so many that this section would soon find itself quite clogged if I listed them all. I love Les Miserables, especially because I'm quite an impassioned nerd about that part in French history. I like the Matrix and the movie a Clockwork Orange (though I think the book is better). I like Fight Club. And I like V for Vendetta. And I like The Perks of Being a Wallflower (though I think the book is better.
Books? Once again, too many to mention. I love the style of Romantic literature, especially that of Emily Bronte. I love Oscard Wilde, J.D Salinger. Also, of course, I love the Harry Potter series (obviously).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Si hablas español, podemos practicar. Eso me encantaría. If you don't speak Spanish, I'd be happy to help you with the basics. I'd be even happier to teach you Mexican slang.
