About Me
CURRENT MISSION:
Have an excellent trip to Brazil this summer, and then start graduate school in Boston in August.
ABOUT ME:
I'm brand new to CS! I'm passionate about people, science, music, literature, and art.
I will be starting an Economics PhD program in the fall in Boston. I really enjoy studying economics and hope to use it to do good things in the world. I also love foreign languages, playing and listening to music, enjoying art, poetry, and literature.
PHILOSOPHY:
I have discovered that in life, good relationships with people are what make you happy. I love making friends and getting to know different cultures and different parts of the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." --Mark Twain
I love getting to know new people, especially people from different places from me. The world is a really big place, and I think that a lot of richness in life comes from getting to know people and cultures different from your own.
When you stay with someone through Couchsurfing, you are able to really experience the place you are visiting, and share that experience with locals.
Interests
I really enjoy learning languages, traveling, hiking, reading, and playing sports.
