About Me
Long ago I heard about a guy who cycled from Sweden to Vietnam. That story have always been in the back of my head, reminding me that every kind of travel is possible. If one only takes the step in the direction one wants to go.
Ten years have passed since I heard about that man and I have finally found the currage to do a bike tour of my own. I am writing this intro from Riga, Latvia to where I have cycled from Jessheim, Norway. I sit in the spare room, in the home, of a Couchsurfing Host. Naturally, living with him for a few days, I decided to join Couchsurfing myself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The bike tour I'm currently on have lead me to my first host. From living with this host a few days I realised that this is the way I want to meet people and see the cities I visit.

Music, Movies, and Books
When I'm cycling I sometimes listen to music. I varies quite a lot. From melodic quiet tunes and electronic music to swedish folk musik. From rap/hip hop to trance. And every now and then I throw in some classical music or old rock.
Really, I listen to mostly everything..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
So, adrenallin have always been a joy. This was quite a long time ago tho. There was a newly build bridge that was going to open for traffic in a few days. Before the opening, me and a friend where there with some climbing equipment. Tied one end of a rope to the middle of the bridge and 36 meters away the same rope to ourself. Then we jumped. This is something called "pendel dive" or "king swing". Don't do it if you don't know how to..
Maybe this is not amazing to anyone else than to me and my friend, but we sure hade a great experience!
