Présentation
À propos de moi
I am a 34 year old art historian from Berlin. I work for a big museum and am very interested in history. Especially Antiquity, Renaissance and 19th century. I am a bit shy in the beginning but I like to talk, drink wine listen to music and sing (badly). I am fun to be around I think and I enjoy a nice conversation about almost any topic (not so much science though because I am dumb regarding these topics haha)
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
This is my first time using couch surfing. I only recently started working part time and decided I want to use my free time to travel more. I really want to make some new connections during my travels maybe even find a new friend all while exploring the wonders of this beautiful continent.
At home we recently turned our storage room into a small guest room. It is very cozy in sage green with nice art, plants and a window - so I am sure you would like it, even though its small. We also have a cat named Mimi that is very easy going and cute but already an old lady. We live very close to the city center in a beautiful Altbau from the beginning of the 20th Century.
Centres d'intérêt
In my free time I enjoy reading, or drawing. I do this since I was a child and its always made me happy to just sit somewhere and draw for a few hours. Walking around with music in my ears is something that truly makes me happy and I often sing when nobody is around 😜

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I really like movies with female main characters. I was raised by a single mom and she was just always so strong and independent. Maybe that shaped my interest in films like that. I also really like dramas that challenge the past and deal with racism or other struggles of our societies. The Help is an incredible movie like that, Bedazzled is a hilarious film that I really love, Titan A.E., and The Mummy 1+2 are just films I always watched with my dad so they are also important to me. Ty Shows I love include The Nanny, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Malcolm in the Middle.
I also love to read, mostly sci-fi or historical dramas though. A bit fantasy is also in the mix. So books like The Invisible Library series or Donovan are just as much my taste as Dan Browns books or books on ancient egypt or Rome.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I have a few but one of my favorites happened when I was 26. You see when I was 16 I started to learn Japanese in my small home town with a Japanese Woman who had a german last name. Then in 2016 I did an internship in the south of germany and met an opera singer from Berlin. She invited me to visit her a few months later and when I was in Berlin, 500km from my home town I met her flatmate who was actually the daughter of my japanese teacher. The worls sometimes is so incredibly small and so many great encounters can happen in the funniest ways possible! 🍀
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I studied Art History 🖼️ and Classical Archaeology 🏛️ so I do know a lot about that stuff. So if you want to know more about art want to take a walk trough the city and its museums with me I would be very happy to spend time with you and talk about art. I could also teach you some german if you are interested ;)
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
I would say I was raised with the right values. I am very friendly, respectful, and clean. I enjoy talking and cooking, museum touring and spending time outside - either in the city or in nature. I am very open minded (Berlin city Boy haha) and enjoy nice company or being alone. I am quite easy to keep happy. ✨
