Overview
About Me
I'm a happily taken guy who comes from a rural minnesota town, and I currently live in Des Moines going to Drake University for Computer Science! My passions, if mapped out, would look like a shotgun blast. I love everything from machine learning analysis of datasets to gardening, camping to music festivals. I have painted a few paintings and create art using code! I have a very extrovert personality that is excited to meet new people, as they are the real reason I am here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because I just really appreciate and respect people. The entire spectrum of personalities you meet is actually endless. The fact that every single person has a story, a home, and a connective social life amazes me! I am want to learn your story, to hear and to help in any way possible. I believe people are good by default, and I joined couchsurfing to help prove that.
I am a student of Drake University, and unfortunately don't have the resources to go everywhere I dream of. However, with amazing hosts on couchsurfing I can brighten their days and they can brighten mine!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a huge music lover, with a record player set up and around a hundred records, as well as 45GB of music on my devices. I love really getting into the craft of the music, hearing and enjoying every note.
Books: I LOVE THEM. Give me thirty minutes every day and I would be in heaven. I like reading non-fiction guides, as well as emotional dramas. As a coder, I love reading tutorials/guides that can help my learning on any subject in the world!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been to Bonnaroo Music fest 4 times, gone to 8 different countries, fallen in love, and help homeless and under represented communities by packaging food and donating my time!
Teach, Learn, Share
I actually taught at the Science Center of Iowa, teaching kids about the wonders of science, computers, robots, and biology, and it was the best year of my life! I love learning new skills that I can pass down to others around me. Some things I can share are books that I find at thrift stores (which are AMAZING), my talents as a programmer, pictures of my adorable dog named Doogie, and my smile.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My time, my genuinity, and my soul. I hope to put it all out on the line to make my hosts as comfortable as possible, and I guarantee that you will have a great time hosting me. I am clean, respectful, and can carry deep conversations about life if they come up. Life is a learning experience; let's learn together!
