my name is Alexander Slominski, I'm 25 years old and I love to travel, I know, what a surprise.
Sadly this is an expensive hobby and as a student I'm not swimming in money. So that's why I want to try out couchsurfing.
In my opinion it is much more interesting and exiting to visit a country and actually meet native people and talk to them, than sitting at a pool while drinking every kind of cocktails that exist, while staying in a bubble not experiencing anything of the country visiting.
So when I'm going to visit you, I will be off to explore the area as much as I can and you're free to join me.

Literature:
I love reading and I don't want to list up every book I have read, because that would be a boring list lecture.
After all you can tell much about a person while taking a look at the literature a person likes to read, I'll name my favourites.
My absolute favourites are the big titles of russian literature.
But I also love to read the work of english authors. Like everything from J.R.R. Tolkien, Jane Austen, Arthur Conan Doyle and Oscar Wilde.
From the american authors so far only Jack London, Ernest Hemingway, Ralph Waldo Emerson and David Thoreau.

I'm interested in learning everything of a new culture when I'm visiting a new country and I'm willing to share everything about my culture as well. Beside Germany I know plenty about Poland, because my family comes originally from Poland and moved to Germany back then.
Also I'm very interested in politics and history. I would like to know those differences between the countries out of first hand.
