Hello Internet!

I am Alex and currently live and work in Lahti in Finland, where I do my PhD in urban ecosystems research.

I moved here after I grew up in Germany fulfilling my dream to live in Finland. To me Finland has everything I need. Especially lots of beautiful nature.

Other than nature I also love to cook and play board games, experience the world and cultures and try something new once in a while.
