About Me
Hi! I'm a curious guy. I like to learn new things, see new places and get to know new people. I've traveled quite a bit, both in my home country and around the world. I have two kids that live with me every second week, and we have a house in Drammen, 30 mins from Oslo, the capitol of Norway.
I have a job that can easily be executed from anywhere in the world, so now I'm really looking forward to exploring more, combining my greatest interests, food, culture, nature and architecture, either on my own or together with a host. I'm quite independent but also like to socialize.
My friends would probably describe me as a nerd, I get really into whatever I am interested in at the moment. It's not limited to technology, it can just as well be a quest to find the optimal workout routine, exploring new foods or learning local history.
I try to eat as clean and healthy as I can, but I do enjoy mostly all kinds of food. I drink very little alcohol, as I have found that life is also pretty fun without it. But I often have a beer or five in the right setting.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Some of my best travel memories have been when I have met locals, friends or colleagues on my trips and they have shared their favourite places, restaurants, activities and so on. It's the difference between visiting a city, and really living that same place, if that makes sense. I want to do more of that!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Indie, pop, rock, classical, acoustic. I really like chill music for relaxing, like Jack Johnson and Damien Rice. For a party, I can listen to just about anything, and I always listen to upbeat pop or techno while I work out. I usually either listen to the news or pop music while making food.
Movies: I really like movies that makes me think, thrillers, dramas, true crime. But I can enjoy silly comedies as well, as well as action movies in the cinema with great picture and sound. I watch a lot of movies and television series, but there has to be a good plot, and I only watch something once.
Books: I read a lot of news and technology websites, and my book collection is a reflection on my preferences in movies. I love unexpected twists and plots!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have seen lots of great places, and done plenty of cool things, let's talk about some of them sometime!
But the one thing I'm most proud of is that through hard work I've achieved financial independence at a fairly young age, without any economical help. Now I can just work as much as I want to and enjoy life. I do this by really exploring my interests and spending more time with the people I love.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach lots of practical things, or language, but my main strength (and source of income) is computer competency, how to rank a website to the number one spot on Google, or how to make an Internet business grow through both marketing and creating great customer experiences.
I love learning new things, just about anything! Everything from history to language to a dance to how to make new recipes.
I would share my love of life itself. I want to experience new and fun things that can create growth, both personally but also to the community as a whole.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to share the Norwegian culture, my skills and positivity. And of course I would chip in on any costs my accommodation would entail. I am not couch surfing to save money but to live as locals do in new places, get new friends and hopefully see, learn and do cool things.
