Hi, I'm Alex, and I'm a psychology student from Vienna. And no, I can’t read minds, they don't teach the cool stuff at my university.

I'm pretty straightforward, I say what's on my mind and I guess, eventually, maybe, I'm a bit too honest for my own good, sometimes. But usually I'm quite sociable, nice and - after we get past the smalltalk - an open-minded guy, who's into good, funny, weird, emotional and crazy conversations.

I like to travel and I have this weird tendency to get to a high spot in every place I visit. When I'm at the top and look at the amazing view, it's like the time stops for a moment, giving me a break from all the stuff happening below, I love that.

I like meeting people, listening to stories, learning from others experiences or simply just hearing about what‘s going on in other‘s lives.

I listen to a lot of music, all the time: rock, alternative, 80s, 90s, house, instrumentals (I don't get into all those sub-genres now ^^).. the good thing: you can take me to almost any party or bar. I'll probably like the music.

If I have to name a favorite movie, it would be Inception. I just love the music, the atmosphere, the complexity. But generally, I'm more of a series addict. I'm one of those people having a list about series he's already watched to keep track (clear sign of addiction). A few of my favorite shows are Sherlock, Good Omens, The Young Pope, Dark.
Things who are thrilling or have some kind of sophisticated humor. Some are mainstream, but they're mainstream for a good reason.

One of the most amazing things I've ever done is skydiving. The moment right after you jump out of the plane (or in my case after you get pushed out) is one of the most awesome feelings I ever had. You can just scream the air out of your lungs as loud as you can and no one will hear you (not even the person who's behind you for safety reasons, even though he was the one who pushed me out in the first place)

In German we have the saying "Irren ist menschlich", which basically means that making mistakes is a very human thing, it happens to everyone, there's no sense in letting it drag you down or being unforgiving towards another person for eternity and whatever comes after. Instead you can learn from it, try a different approach next time, or the same approach in a different situation.
