Overview
About Me
I get along with most everyone and am whimsical whenever possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd rather visit places and learn from the locals than take the standard tourist route, though, some things are visited by many for a reason. Still, it is true that meeting cool people is, indeed, cool.
Interests
I've gone on several bicycle tours from Milwaukee to various locations that always end up being around 900 miles away. I love running and backpacking a lot, but have done little of the latter.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite Books: East Of Eden (or anything by John Steinbeck), Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell, The Foundation Series (or anything by Isaac Asimov), The Lord Of The Rings, Pride and Prejudice, Watership Down, etcetera.
Favorite movie: Hot Fuzz
Music: Alt and Pop-Punk are my favorite, but I'll get down to anything that sounds good.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bicycle tour from Milwaukee north into The Upper Peninsula of Michigan, down to The Lower Peninsula of Michigan, and east into Toronto.
I was swimming off the coast of Italy once and there some some bioluminescence stuff going on and it was pretty cool.
I had a >$150 five-course sushi meal once and it was like eating food from a different plane of existence.
Teach, Learn, Share
There are few times in life where being whimsical and making jokes is not the proper course of action.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I make a breakfast meal called "The Breakfast Sandwich". It is an omelet with any vegetables, spices, and cheese you would like in two pieces of toast with peanut butter and honey on them. It is a sweet and savory thing and it is delicious enough that I ate it every morning (more or less) for three years.
I also enjoy cooking and would help someone make something as a super awesome team.
