About Me

I'm born and bred near South East London in a place called Southend On Sea; at the age of 14 I moved to Canterbury, Kent, and lived there with my Dad for 2 years until finishing my qualifications for university (A levels) back in my home town. Last June, I was given unconditional offers from my universities and chose Nottingham. At this point, I felt like education was a social structure and something that merely conformed us, society... I wanted to do something different so decided to take a GAP year and travelled to America where I've lived since September, 2016. I managed to get a scholarship at an academy in Boston and studied there for 4 months before leaving and since then until now, I've been traveling, (New Jersey, New York, Long Beach, Rockaway, Philadelphia, D.C., Miami, Orlando) and just trying to do things I wouldn't ordinarily do.

So anyway, that's the run down of my life so far and how I ended up here :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Love the grime scene in London at the moment, not really a thing in the US but YOU should check it out... (Go in easy with some Stormzy or Abra)
Hip Hop/ Rap- it's all good
Brazilian music ❤️

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While traveling I've done some crazy stuff that I'd say I'm quite proud and amazed by but probably the thing I'll hold with me the most is when I went swimming in Miami and there were turtles, manatees and all kinds of fish around, it was crazily scenic and in sync

Teach, Learn, Share

Something I've learnt from traveling so much is how much more there is to learn about the world than what we already know in each of our bubbles of society. Norms and perceptions of things can change everything about how they're perceived and what one can do with them. I want to move toward a frame of mind of acceptance and ultimate understanding and appreciation of people's around the world, I want to see the opinion of the other side of the fence and I want them to understand how I see things too. People never fail to surprise me and take me aback when I'm traveling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can be quiet, flexible and out of the way if you want pro can be talking your ear off all night- I'm always on the move doing things so change plans to fit you whenever! I like to have a drink and chill in the evening, more the merrier.
