ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going, friendly guy, with a sense of humour and a curiosity about the world. I have a wife and daughter who light up my life and I see the world as being full of exciting possibilities. The desire to live in many different places has been a strong current running through my live. So far I've lived on three continents, so I have quite a bit further to go.

I like to think about the way the world is headed, but in a pragmatic way, and without taking it all too seriously.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Cycling across the U.S. we informally stayed with many kind hosts who offered us a place to stay on sight. I also had a great time WWOOFing in New Zealand a few years back.

Interests

I love cycling, maths, travelling, mountains, beautiful photography, and wandering through new cities. Reading takes up a good bit of my free time as does following professional cycling. I really enjoy good conversation and am currently studying Dutch as I will shortly be moving to the Netherlands.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycled across the U.S. from coast to coast on a tandem. Hiking in New Zealand left me with a deep love for mountains. WWOOFed in New Zealand and learned a lot about how generous people can be.
