I grew up In the Caribbean. I lived there for 11 years. I had a blast most of the time doing nothing but climbing trees to get mangoes and spending my weekend days on the beach. (There was more of course to it then that)

Now I live in a cold west corner of north west Europe called the United Kingdom. Where winter and summer is defined by the amount of daylight rather then any particular seasonal change. This is part of the reason why I love to travel. My past experiences and my current circumstances.

The things I love to do is walk my dog, listen to latin music and dance Salsa/Bachata. I am still attempting to learn Spanish. I am obsessed with Latin culture in general. It is so different from the British culture and I feel at home with it, maybe in due part to my upbringing.

Soon I hope to do my TEFL qualification and I will be able to teach english as a foreign language. I hope to then go abroad and teach for around 6 months. Perfect timing to escape the hard winter we experience every year that ages me by at least 12 months.

I am a laid back guy and I have a suprising amount of general knowledge. I know a lot of random facts. Don't ask me what they are. They will just pop up now and again, haha.

People say that I could talk to anyone and that is true, my proffesion requires it. But I have always been able to find a good rapport with people from differing backgrounds and cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travel broadens the mind, so does meeting people of differing opionons/experiences. I am a great peoples person and no experience is great without the people to share it with.
