ABOUT ME

Just coming off being unemployed for a spell. Before that I was working for an evil corporation called Teleperformance. NEVER work there.
What can I say about myself? I'm pretty terrible at this sort of thing.
I'm 31. Single. No kids, but one cat that's quite a handful. I haven't done much traveling lately, but I'd like ot do more now that I have a job that's only 4 days a week.

You only get one chance at life so you should spend your time making people laugh and smile and enjoying yourself. That smile part means helping people along the way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Haven't just yet. Got turned on to the idea by a friend and thought it sounded interesting and fun.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This past summer (August 2007), I crashed at a friend of a friend's place to go to a convention. MUCH cooler than paying hundreds of dollars for a hotel room. The people I met were pretty fun even though I didn't see much of them.
I've also hung out with GarmentLady and Nathan Andren both of whom are too awesome for mere words to describe.

What have I been listening to lately? Andrew Bird & Martin Dosh. Ratatat. Kasabian. The Dresden Dolls. The Arcade Fire. Mara Levi. The Lab Rats. Anything the radio station CD101 plays. AS for films? Favorite all time film is probably Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead or Return of the King. Also a big fan of the new Batman film and anything directed by Daron Aronofsky. Superman Returns. Seven Samurai. Pi. The Libertine. Star Wars. A handful of animes.

Seven of my buddies randomly tricked a convention full of nerds that we were rock stars. We had people following us around and asking for autographs. Ask me about it and I'll tell you the whole story.

When I was a kid, my folks took me to Disney World and a guy dressed like Merlin the Wizard grabbed me out of a crowd of people at random and let me pull a big sword out of a stone. It was epic...
