Hi we're Alex + Tina

We're new on Couchsurfing and in New Zealand.

*About us:*

We are Alex and Tina and currently traveling together through New Zealand. After spending 15 months all over Australia we finally made it to this beautiful country and are so happy to be able to explore here.

While traveling we learned a lot of things and the most important one was: People make places!!! (Our memories confirm that)

That's why we finally decided to join the Couchsurfing Community. And here we are, two freshman ready to start exploring.
We hope to meet a lot of people here and learn a lot, share and make memories.
For us the best way to do so is to meet locals. No one knows a place better than a local and is able to transmit the vibe to us.

But all of it is taking and giving, so we also hope to make a lot of friends during this trip and give something back. Maybe by welcoming them at our place one day, cooking for them etc.

For our current trip in NZ we hope to meet lots of locals to get a feeling for Aotearoa. Maybe you could be the next one we can have a chat and a few good days with.

One more thing: Always say yes to new adventures!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to try a new way of exploring the world. A new way of meeting new people, sharing stories and making friends, while writing an unforgettable story together.

Interests

I'm very active, bubbly and a sporty person, but also very interested in other parts of life.
I discovered recently my passion for cooking and baking and keen to try new recipes and learn new skills. One of my favourite activities is cooking together with family and friends and celebrating an evening with good food and fun.
If I'm not spending time on the cooking topic or sports I like to learn about new technologies.
At last I like to play my accordion and be part of an orchestra. This completes my variety of interests and hobbies and gives me the right balance in my day to day life, cause music eases the soul.
