About Me
A journey feels only whole when I can connect the visual memories and photographs taken through my eyes with the noise, voices, music, smells, flavors, and the atmosphere packing everything together inn one melting pot of exploding senses. Travelling for me is living. It is part of my life and will alyways be.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Like the moments captured through my eyes do not make an experience whole, travelling for me is not whole if not shared - and that is why I love couchsurfing! Sharing stories and pictures, cooking and drinking together, as well as spending time is just amazing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The space is not enough to document all my greatest travel experiences. But one of the TOP experiences were:
- All the travels to the wine countries Italy, France and Austria with my parents - I am so happy that my father loved to buy wine from the wineries so we could get around quite a lot at that time... ;-)
- Travelling off the beaten track in Peru and staying for 2 weeks with some locals from the Andes in Huancayo. It was amazing to see the Peruvian traditions, fiestas and enjoying Pisco Sour. Also Machu Picchu has to be named as it is, even overrun, a place one has to see before they die...
- Studying Polish, getting to know Polish culture and friends in the great town of Cracow!
- Studying English for 2 months in Chichester, England, when I was 17 and getting to know people from all over the world
- Showing my friends around my Home Country Germany and through the castles, alpine lakes and great cuisine of my home privince Bavaria
- Driving with my own car to the Caucasus and back
- Bringing a football to Kyrgyz Nomads near Lake Son Köl, playing with the kids and seeing them having fun
- Discussing with Korean locals in a bar in a provincial town in South Korea for hours about so many things without me knowing Korean and them knowing English... and experiencing that the words only make 7 % of all communication...
+ on and on! many more adventures can be named and are to be lived!
