Music, Movies, and Books
I'll have to leave a lot out :P But let's start with Music: Classical, Jazz, Classic Rock would be my favourite genres, but really? I could listen to nearly everything. Dvorak or Coltrane, Pink Floyd or Röyksopp, Bob Marley or People Under The Stairs, if it got great rythm and melody (and texts), I'm in.
Movies..... the crazier and more philosophical ones are my favourites, those that don't make you sleep at night because you just can't stop thinking about it. Scifi is usually the best for that. Examples: The Man from Earth, Doctor Who (i know, that's TV), Dr. Strangelove etc.
And good old british humor is always great, Monty Python being the obvious example! Also, add pretty much any Tarantino to the list :P
Books... well... ANYTHING, as long as it's written well. If I'd have to chose a genre I'd say Fantasy and Scifi, because I love to imagine all the aspects of these fantasy worlds that the author DOESN'T describe. The weirder the better :D Also, anything with a critical view towards politics and the nature of power.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've had the incredible chance of riding on an elephant in Thailand, and it was absolutely amazing, tramping through the jungle like you just don't care! Being showered by the elephant during a river crossing felt so refreshing in the heat and humidity.
Another incredible satisfying moment in my life was seeing the view from a mountaintop in the alps, after hiking all the way up in the summer. Granted, it wasn't the tallest mountain, but it was amazing nontheless. And then bathing in freshly melted glacier water, have never screamed so much in my life.
