ABOUT ME

Hey I'm a young Australian currently doing what it seems all australians are do, travelling all around Europe. I've absolutely loved my time over here but I'd love to REALLY experience cities with the wisdom and secrets of locals (that's you!) rather than doing the same old hostel thing. I'm not great at selling myself like this but I'd say I am very difficult to live with, zero personality and no sense of humour... But seriously I'm quite an independent n out going person that's interested by nearly anything. My friends say I've got a great sense of humour ( though the above joke makes you question that) and I'm a perfect drinking companion and hanging out buddy, always up for a good time or down for a chill session. I'm currently taking a year off uni where I'm studying philosophy, politics and French back home in Melbourne. I return back home soon but have already caught the travel bug and will most definitely be exploring somewhere new very soon!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm basically brand-spanking new to all of this, though I have surfed already when I was staying in Paris. I met lots of people on my travels who have been surfing and hosting and they have nothing but good things to say about it, so now I'm hooked.

Interests

I love to do most things and am very often up for new experiences. I love to travel and I love to explore, try new things. I am quite easy-going and i love to meet new people hang out and also party.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are ways so many to name with this sort of stuff but I'm into all types of films from American history x, snatch, la haine, lock stock, training day to comedies like the classics of zoolander, anchorman n step brothers.
As for music I'm mainly into hip hop but NOT anything like lil Wayne or Waka floka flame, instead people with more talent who actually have something to say like Atmosphere, Blu, de la soul, fugees, J dilla, madlib, mos def, @peace, the roots, ATCQ, ugly duckling but I'm also really into other types of music like the black keys, chet faker, Flume, hot chip, nujabes, XXYYXX.
As for books I read a lot of philosophical and political ones (seeing as I'm studying them) but I also love crime fiction and biographies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done and seen some amazing things on my travels from getting lost in les calanques in the south of France to sneaking into an abandoned spy tower outside Berlin but my favourite thing todo is to discover and immerse myself in a new city and new culture
