One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The New Year celebration in Laos.
I was travelling in Laos with friends and we didn’t mean it but were there for NY.

Traditionally people gently sprinkled water on one another as a sign of respect. The act of pouring water is also a show of blessings and good wishes, but as the new year falls during the hottest month in South East Asia, in boisterous celebration, many people douse strangers and passers-by with water pistols and water bombs.
It was heaps of fun!
