Sandy. 25 years old. Born in HK. Mum physiotherapist; dad architect; sister doctor. Lived there 10 yrs. Now Scotland. 15 yrs. Travels: Japan, Europe, America (North and middle), New Zealand and Cuba. Like: chess, sports (rugby, squash, running). Paris marathon 2006 time: 3.19. Want to learn French and live abroad.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One experience in Miami 2010 after summer camp. Very good host Rob. Just one night. Me and my friend Markus had been working on a fruit farm through an organization called WOOF (Working On Organic Farms) and we wanted to spend time in the city.

We went to the nudist beach (my first time). It was fine. We went to a couchsurfing meeting. Also good. An enjoyable experience alround. Rob made excellent chocolate pancakes for breakfast.

Interests

I am interested in learning new things and hearing about other people's experiences. Of course I also like some things like chess, philosophical debate, books, some TV shows and so forth.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped out of a moving plane in the Swiss Alps in a place called Interlaken ('between lakes'). That was amazing. Freefalling in the sky with a complete feeling of helplessness. C'est la vie!
