About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be yourself. To help others be yourself.
ABOUT ME
35, male, russian. Orthodox christian, married and we have a kid. I'm muscovite. Former vice-president of FC Bayern Munchen official international fan-club, so it means that I love football and everything connected with this amazing world of sport.
Then, well, books, of course. Russian literature itself worthy of enjoying, even if you forget that there is a huge literature world around, with its own diamonds. Though, i like german literature of XIX-XX centurires (except Nietzsche, actually), so we can try to enjoy talking about Dubrovsky, Raskolnikov and Pechorin, though i'm not very fond of classic russian novels :-).
PHILOSOPHY
I'm Christian, orthodox, former member of a protestant church, and it changes all my life and left a deep signs in me a decade ago. What for now, well, i just hope that this world would ever become a little more comfortable place to stay in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In CS - i'm just starting.
Apart from CS: well, three years, every summer I met accidentally some students from Germany and Belgium travelling and lerning Russian. Without CS, i didn't know about it that time. Different groups came three summers one-by-one from the same countries and it was very nice to lead some excursions for them, to show them a places to have a beer and 50gr. of vodka and dance all night long.
I even invited one of that fellows to my pre-wedding party in russian sauna, that was really fun.
Interests
I like sleeping, i like eating good food, i like beer and culture of soccer fans. Also museums, books and lot of new information.
I like walking, eating, sleeping and contribute to russian Wikipedia. So then i like to make a good photos and post it to wiki so that people around the world may use it freely as they like - it's a kind of having my part in growing of worldwide knowledge.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books - well, mainly it's a history of 20s century, WW2 and it's combatants, then theology of Christianity. Fantasy - yeah, but i'm going to quit this stupid wasting time reading poor fantasy.
And I like something like James Herriot or Gerald Durrell. Also I have deep interest in Germany, it's traditions and culture.
Want to meet new friends, show them my home city, and have some freetime with foreigners and non-muscovites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most interesting period in my life was a summer'09 when i lived all alone in my flat and worked as an antique books seller at the Arbat str. - so many strange people and meetings and... well, just come to Moscow in summer and see it with your eyes.
And i'm continuing to live thru one of the most interesting moments.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you Russian! I can show you Moscow as long as we can go, probably I can help you to understand Russians more and introduce you our culture. Maybe we can go to a soccer match and you'll see the truth about football fans - actually, it's not what media tells you.
Also my wife is fond of cooking so we can get a good dinner/supper together!
