ABOUT ME

Just graduated from the University of Chicago and moved back home to NYC to start work as a management consultant. I'm a lover of corny jokes, a cooking enthusiast, and an amateur photographer. I also really love a good cup of tea, beer, or wine.

I live in Astoria, Queens, New York. I LOVE queens, its where I grew up and its the most diverse county in the USA. 150 languages spoken, half the population born in another country! My neighborhood is filled with greek people, bakeries, cafes, and great restaurants, and I'm currently loving getting to know the area better.

I have now surfed and hosted a couple of times. Its been great fun!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I traveled through Indiana and Michigan by bike and couchsurfed my way around with a friend. It was great!

I also hosted a bunch of people in Chicago.

Besides traveling and exploring new places, I like photography, cooking, meeting people, politics, and good beer and tea.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While biking through Indiana, I traveled through Amish country. because the Amish drive buggies, my bike became one of the fastest vehicles on the road. I met and camped on the farm of an extremely friendly Amish man and he let me shower in his house. The whole experience was incredible!

I think carnival in Venice was one of the coolest things I have seen.
