ABOUT ME

Hey there! My name is Alexander, I am from Moscow, Russia. Recently graduated with Econ degree, now exploring marketing as a brand manager. Even though work/life balance has not been set up properly yet, I occasionally play guitar and ukulele, hit the gym and snowboard every winter.

My life totally changed when I went to Korea for a 2013 spring semester as an exchange student. I got a lot of new friends, new emotions and changed the way I think becoming more... global and open-minded, I guess.

Unfortunately, I'm always occupied with something and don't really have much time to hangout. But when I do... crazy Russian awakes!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I wish I had my own flat to host, but the only thing I'm doing now is surfing. However, I would very much like to participate in CS meetings, just need to spare some time, or just meet up.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Absolutely positive! I'm incredibly excited with CS and it's not only about traveling. It's more about meeting people from all over the world, sharing your views, exchanging opinions - and it all leads to finding a common ground with people from all over the world. And I would definitely say that CS changed me in a good way. I've been hosted in Lithuania, Estonia, Greece and Albania and it was a great and valuable experience!

Music - listening, playing, used to do some records a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away :)
Guitar player - graduated from music school with classic guitar skill set, successfully implemented later for playing electric and bass.
Sports - basketball, football, gym, snowboarding, rafting

And, of course, I like to travel!

Music - my favorite styles are rock, metal and its variations, but I consider myself open to all kinds of music.
Books - mostly Russian... Bulgakov, for instance
Movies - that's complicated question. But there is one movie that has impressed me much - Oldboy (the original one, Korean)
