About Me

I'm a student currently living in Leipzig, the most vivid, adorable and exciting city, if you ask me. Originally, I come from the beautiful Bodensee, or Lake of Constance by its english name. I also lived some years in Lübeck. Cosy would probably be the right adjective for that city.
-- And I should really rewrite my profile soon. It's on my TODO. ;) --

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I'm traveling I like to get to know locals. They know the nice places to be - not only the sights. And if you know some locals every place becomes instantaneously more vibrant. :)

Interests

I'm interested in music, culture and politics. I like to get to know how other people live their lives and to hear their opinions.
I'm no writer. But I think that's not too bad because there has also to be someone who reads all the nice books written. :)
I like to be outside, do sport or just sit somewhere and talk the talk.
Sometimes, I also like to do some computer stuff; well, I should since I study computer science. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

With books I like for example "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy", everything by Murakami or "The book thief".
"Head Hunters" by Herbie Hancock is a great album.
And a great movie: "Cloud Atlas" maybe, but the corresponding book is even greater.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I started a project in the German City of Lübeck that helps refugees to find a room in a student's shared flat. The idea was to help people to get in contact with locals and make it easier to learn the German language and to get to know local custodies. It worked out quite well. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

You can ask me, maybe I can teach you something like making bread, sewing, repairing bikes or setting up secure communication.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cyprus, Czech Republic, Italy, Mexico, Poland, Spain, Tunisia, United Kingdom, United States
