CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to get in contact with new cultures and people from all over the world before I will start working as a teacher in May because I think that this does not only broaden your cultural horizon but also helps you to grow as a person.

ABOUT ME

Hello,

my name is Alex, I am 26 years old and I do a gap year at the moment to discover their world and broaden my cultural horizon. I think that is a good change where you can see life and learn important things you would never learn in your home country.
Therefore it would be wonderful if I could make friends with people from all over the world.
I have three passions and these are travelling, sport and music.
I like to travel because you meet people from all corners of the world and you get in contact with new cultures and nationalities which is very interesting.
That is why I have the dream to visit all parts of the world.
My second passion is sport especially football, basketball and handball. Whereas I play handball in a club, I play football and basketball with some friends in my free time that is really amazing. Nevertheless I am interested in other sports of course and it would be great if I get to know more about them.
In general sport is amazing because you both learn self- discipline and how to react in a team. On top of that you know your limitations.
My third passion is music. After I started to play the keys at the age of 6, I learned how to play the guitar and drums by myself. Now I play in two different bands (Rock&Pop) that makes a lot of fun particularly on stage.
When I am fed up with my own music, I go to concerts and musicals to be inspired by good musicians.
Especially festivals are only amazing.

Explore the world and gain as much experience as possible to broaden your cultural horizon.
Give things a trial and face new challenges to grow as a person.
Be open-minded and interested in things you have never done before. Do not forget to live and do the things you like most.

Interests

I am really interested in doing sport expecially football(soccer), basketball and handball.
In general, sports fascinates me.

Music is amazing as well. Either I make my own music or I listen to it. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queen and Ray Charles are my favorite bands/musicians.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not have favorite books or movies because there are really too many I really like.
According to music I prefer to listen to Rock, Pop and Jazz music.
In addition to that, I love to go to musicals. The combination of music and story is amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be pleased about teaching how to play the guitar and the drums.
If the people are interested, I would teach them German and Spanish.
In exchange for that, I would improve my English or even learn another language.
