ABOUT ME
Happy. Easy-going. Thoughtful (at least from time to time). Curious to learn new things!
Just by reading my profile sucks (:
But I hope I am not that boring - give it a try!
PHILOSOPHY
Happiness is your personal choice. Not a result of your circumstances going accidentally well or whatever. You are your own creator of happiness. 'Just' be happy. That is it and that is hard enough.
"I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me." - Proverbs, 8,17
I am still sticking to it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
During my time in Australia I have been member of the wwoof and help-x organisation (you trade four hours of daily work in average for food and accommodation with your host), so I have experience in staying with a host and spending awesome times with him or other helpers as well. It is amazing how many different kinds of people you get to know. And how different types of experiences you can make.
Travelling is more than sight-seeing or 'coming around'. It is connecting with people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Ever seen 'The great kahuna'? Otherwise, I like movies with a twist in the end or non-linear ones
Sounds silly but I often pick random books by their covers! This surprisingly often works, however it is amusing how it can fail...
The decemberists, Iron Maiden occasionally, Nick Cave and the bad Seeds and Ludovico Einaudi are my favourites at the moment
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travel in general gives you so many nice experiences, just to list a couple:
hitchhiking in Tasmania, Easter procession through the streets of Jerusalem or witnessing a children ballet training session in Vitebsk, Belarus and taking the Transsiberian Train, ending up walking on the frozen lake Baikal.
