So, life is good, and i have the good fortune of finally being free to travel and explore and experience those majestic adventures I've always dreamed of.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because i genuinely appreciate and value this resource and the community of people who bring glad tidings to tired travelers in a time of need.

Beyond the obvious awesomeness of having a warm, safe place to lay your head, and a warm shower to freshen up, traveling within the network of couch surfing, and interacting with the many people is a uniquely rich experience that should be celebrated.

The tradition of hosting travelers is time honored on the planet, and from it come great stories, delicious meals, laughter, friendship, knowledge, and an ever expanding perception of the world around us.

In advance, i give thanks for all the gracious hosts, and especially the ones who are able to accommodate this young traveler on his journey.

Although i do not have the permanent residence to host friends and travelers at this time, when i do, my home is open and warm :) Thank you.

Interests

Life itself is the real interest... Just being alive in itself and witnessing the world around us is one of the greatest and most fantastic mysteries of the Universe, forever unfolding in greater degrees of beauty...

So in the meantime, I just enjoy listening to (and playing) music, reading stories of fiction or real life excellence, and also any book where i can learn something and successfully apply it in my life... there's writing, stories, poetry, songs, you name it... drawing, painting, art, design, photography and video.... architecture, landscape and interior design, exploring in nature... hiking, swimming, adventure sports, biking, long boarding, snowboarding.... yoga, meditation, holistic healing... I enjoy cooking, and eating... though probably eating more than cooking... I like poetry, spoken word, art (in the broadest sense of the word)... also good film, great live music, and then dancing to great live music....

Also, ancient civilizations, alien ancestors and the possibility of a super intelligent galactic civilization emanating from the center of the galaxy... :) hopefully we have some things in common ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

There is so much great music out there! And i like a good bit of it ~ it really just depends on the vibe and the moment.... i like everything from classical compositions, to classic rock, to 90's hip hop, to folk, electronic, you name it.

Movies and Books seem to fall into that same category.... I just love a good story, and one may appear in many forms.
