About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Avoid British weather, avoid having a real life!

ABOUT ME

I have pretty much all the typical traits of an English guy, i'm pretty competitive, i can be sarcastic and have a dark sense of humour, and i hate cold/wet weather. It may seem a bit contrary but i'm generally pretty light hearted and try not to take aything too seriously - i often dismiss anything too dramatic with a bad joke, and then get on with my life!
I also love keeping busy, too much sitting around and I go a bit stir-crazy. Anyone willing to show me something new will be an ideal host for me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Travelling indefinitely for now, so i'm just looking to surf for a while, but i can reward hosts with some degree of cooking "skills".

Interests

Sport, photography, drinking, sciencey stuff, diving... pretty much anything new will keep me interested as I can get bored fairly easy! I will pretty much try anything once (except Skydiving - never gunna happen!)

Music, Movies, and Books

Bit of a DVD-addict. Love any Chris Nolan or Martin Scorsese directed films, particular favourites being Memento and The Departed. Also love dumb american comedies aswell as the more serious stuff.

Listen to pretty much all kinds of music - though currently addicted to Pixies, Ben Howard, DeathCab and Brand New to name a few.

Sadly the only books i've read in the last few months is Lonely Planet!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Luckily in my short time travelling i've seen a lot of spectacular stuff - from Phi Ley Lagoon, to sunsets on Sairee Beach in Koh Tao, to the limestone cliffs in Ninh Binh Vietnam. I'm constantly looking for more amazing stuff to see/photograph.

I'm also lucky enough to have spent Christmas hanging out with a few friends, and a welcoming Vietnamese family, and i'll remember that for a long time.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

United Kingdom
