About Me

Hello!
My name is Alexander Kaas Rødsgaard. I lived in Copenhagen until I was 10, where my family moved to northern Zealand, in a town called Jægerspris. I have studied environmental technology in the danish technical university for a short period. It wasn't for me, so I moved to Ollerup, where I now study to become a teacher in History/social studies, Physics/Chemistry, Media and Art.
I love to travel and I enjoy drawing and some painting. I also enjoy playing videogames (old habits die hard). I have travelled many places, from Cuba to Nepal as well as many places in Europe.
I am a pretty easygoing guy. Don't know what else to write, but I look forward to meeting you and please contact me about anything if you have any questions!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why not?
If anyone travelling my way I would be happy to lend out a couch (humble as it is) and I like to think that people need this, to be more social. We need to meet people from all over the world. I have enjoyed it and, well, it's great.
Besides, I have tried couchsurfing before, but I only recently discovered this site, so I look forward to meet new and exciting people on my travels!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a wide variety of music. Some of my favorites are Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Wolfmother, Guns n' Roses, Hendrix, D-A-D, Die Antwoord, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tool etc...
I enjoy watching movies, genre depending on the mood. My all-time favorite is probably Snatch. It's sooo funny!
Books. Well, The Kingkiller Chronicle, The First Law trilogy, Eragon, Krigeren - and many more. Mostly the fantasy genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taught english to about 70-80 Nepali students (age 14-17) alone for around 4 months with no help other than my gestures and the little bit of Nepali I know. It is not a lot.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you what I know, learn what you can teach and share what I have.
