To leave my comfort zone, pursue true happiness, and reach my true potential in order to pay back for all the good souls that have helped me along the way! Hoping to achieve this through international exchange, hence my current travels.

ABOUT ME

Hate this question.. Haha. Lets see, I guess i'd describe myself as a fun-loving, happy, soul-searching individual. The more I learn, the less I realize I truly understand.. the world is a vast playground. My only hope is to continue to enlighten myself, through studies and human interactions, in hopes of becoming the best version of myself. For only the optimal version of myself can come anywhere close to giving back to the immense number of friends, family, and strangers that have helped me along the way.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is self-improvement where possible, as well as giving back to the world for all that it has given to me. We are all citizens of a global community with limitless possibilities, and as such, we must help one-another in order to become our best selves.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently on an internship, and only just now heard about couch surfing. Hoping to find a host in Prague for my travels, and definitely looking forward to hosting once i return to the USA !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No experience thus far, but have attended 2 couch surfing meetings in Wroclaw, Poland. I also have several friends I have met during my visit here that recommended the site. Looking forward to building further experience !

Interests

My interests include outdoor activities, including rock-climbing, hiking, Kayaking, and snowboarding. I also enjoy reading leisurely, writing poetry (don't expect anything extravagant haha), and day dreaming. In terms of sports, I enjoy football, ping-pong, basketball, and swimming. Also enjoy socializing, as we all do of course (haha), that being through tea sessions, bar hopping, or even clubbing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My current internship: Working with Kindergarteners in Wroclaw Poland, and it is amazing how communication is still possible even with a distinctive language barrier (both through their lack of English skills, as well as their lack of speaking development at their age !). I am currently 2 weeks down, and could not have asked for a better experience. Rather than stating this as something amazing i have done, it is something amazing that i am seeing unfolding... The power of humanity through communication, whether verbal or non-verbal :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Never judge a book by its cover. And not just in context of those you see everyday, or in your community, or even your country! The world carries vast knowledge that can only be tapped into through exploration, acceptance, and vulnerability to step outside of your comfort zone. We may all seem very different, but we all carry the same goals internally: The pursuit of happiness. That in itself makes it more than possible to successfully interact with ANY individual :)
