One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can say that the most amazing thing that I`ve done is currently in progress, and that is travelling through Thailand and now New Zealand.

So far the coolest experience I`ve had was visiting Mt Cook, New Zealand`s tallest mountain. One night while camping near the mountain, my friend and I woke up in our tents to the sound of scratching on the door of our car. We were both extremely nervous and thought someone was trying to break into our vehicle and that the culprit could be dangerous.

After whispering amongst ourselves between our tents of what to do, my friend and I built up the courage to get out and investigate. Low and behold, our campsite was being ransaked by about ten possoms. We were relieved at first, but we were then intiidated by their aggression as they refused to leave the site. We had no choice but to go pack up our campsite and head back to the nearest village.
