About Me
ABOUT ME
Laid back grad student looking to meet new people and experience new cities. I love the city, and love to share my travel experiences with others. I think it's important to really soak up and experience all the good and the bad equally. I am kind of nerdy sometimes, so I love to talk about planning and languages - but I can also hold a normal non-nerdy conversation too. I have a lot of interests, but more importantly I love to hear others talk about their interests and experiences. Trying to get my first couch experience as Ive seen friends host surfers before and have awesome experiences.
PHILOSOPHY
Really be aware of yourself and let that help you fill in the rest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now trying to surf, and when I relocate in the US hoping to host some surfers!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Right now, all vicarious. Ive met some surfers staying with friends, and have friends who have surfed and really can't get over the quality of people and experiences available.

Music, Movies, and Books
Right now reading Shantaram. Favorite movies - La Vita E Bella... and Everything is Illuminated. I have a ton of preferences when it comes to movies and music and really just love to spend time getting to know someone just by exchanging favorites we have in common.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing the milky way across the sky in Haiti at night... and the next morning seeing the sun rise over the main mountain in Pignon and actually seeing sunrays in the sky. Absolutely.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love people who have traveled and can share that experience. But also people who think its more important to share knowledge than just demonstrate it. People who have taken risks, had good and bad times, and seek out what they want in life have always taught me some of the most permanent lessons.
Countries I’ve Visited
Barbados, Cambodia, Canada, Costa Rica, Haiti, Mexico, Spain
Countries I’ve Lived In
Viet Nam
