Hi guys, I'm Alex and I'm living in Vienna, Austria. I grew up in Belarus but 2 years ago I moved to Vienna as a master student. I'm married and normally we travel together with my wife. We both love travaling and meeting new interesting people. I deeply believe that, since we have only one life, we need to enjoy every moment and discover all the beauty of your planet, people and cultures!

I try to combine 2 things: being successful and being alive. Having job and enough money you can still have this feeling that your life just goes away and the time is wasted, so I ride a bike, love snowboarding, hiking in mountains and other activities which allow me to enjoy everyday of my life.

Recently I started yoga and meditation to help me clear my mind and study eastern way of thinking. Now I know that to be happy one need to contribute and share something with this world.

My mission is to help good people to achieve thier goals and, finally, create a community of brave, intelligent and a bit crazy (in a positive way) people to make the world a better place for hardworking, kind and open people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We realized that only people make a place special for you and this is the reason why we prefer to stay with hosts and not in soulless hotels.

Friendship is the most valuable asset in my life, but, unfortunately, it is so difficult to find a reliable, interesting and energetic friend. Couchsurfing is definitely a place which unites such type of people! I hope this experience will let us to share and to get the most valuable what we have: our time, ideas, dreams and feelings.

Interests

I love all type of sports, especially ones where you can play as a team. This amaizing feeling to belong to something bigger than you makes me happy.

Motorbike gives me freedom and pushes me out of day-to-day life.

In a future I would like to start business, since I believe that this way I can contribute to the world more, that is why I spend much time for self-education in different areas.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is probably rock, however I also like other type of music depending on the mood :)
Talking about movies, I like ones, which inspire people and tell some motivating story to show that you can more!
As I already mentioned I like self-education, that is why I prefer to read some business or psychological books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Frankly speaking, I did many crazy things, but if I need to name one, let it be rope jumping. Taking into consideration the way it was done, this is defivitely in my top 3 :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Currently, I'm a student of Vienna University of Economict and Business master program is Quantitative Finance.

Overall, I have expertise in Maths, Computer Science, Finance, Couching, Sports and Travelling. I would be glad to share all knowledge and experience I have and would be thankful to anyone who gives me a bit of his\her priceless time.

Of course any of my hosts will be always welcome in my flat!
