I like mountains, that's why I spend a lot of time with rock climbing, mountaineering and skiing in the alps! I further love to travel. To get better impressions of countries, cultures, landscapes and people I prefer the more uncomfortable ways of traveling and accommodation, that means I rather choose hitchhiking on a coconut truck than going in a luxury limousine and I rather choose sleeping in a tent in the snow on a mountain than a comfortable bed in a five-star hotel! I also prefer places which are less famous for tourists, mostly cold places. Antarctica is much more interessting for me than Australia for example.

So far I travelled about 95% of Europe, just some remote countries left, like Iceland, which I wanna do next summer.
I also did a 80.000km overland trip from Europe to Southeastasia and back including the Transsiberian Railway and the ancient Silk Road.
In some years I plan another big trip in Africa. I already checked out Marocco and what should I say? - Africa seems to be a awesome continent!

I already met so many great people from all over the globe and I hope that keeps going on!
